Quick answer: The Taco Bell value menu is now called the Luxe Value Menu. It replaced the Cravings Value Menu nationwide on January 22, 2026. As of October 2026 it lists 10 items priced $1.39–$2.99, led by the Cheesy Roll Up ($1.39), the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito ($1.49) and two new $2 Chicken Crunchadillas.

The Luxe Value Menu is the first place to look for cheap food at Taco Bell. This page lists every item with its current price and calories, based on Taco Bell's U.S. online ordering menu checked in October 2026.

It also shows how the lineup changed since launch, which items give you the most food per dollar, what Taco Bell is testing in Houston, and when a Luxe Box is the better deal.

Two launch items, the Spicy Potato Soft Taco and the Beefy Potato Loaded Griller, are still named in the value menu's description online but may not be sold at every store. If you don't see them in the Taco Bell app for your location, that restaurant isn't carrying them.

What is the Luxe Value Menu?

The Luxe Value Menu is Taco Bell's budget menu of items priced at $3 or less. It replaced the Cravings Value Menu nationwide on January 22, 2026, after Taco Bell Rewards members got early access in the app starting January 16.

According to Restaurant Dive (January 13, 2026), the menu launched with 10 items at $3 or less: five new items and five returning favorites. If you search for the "Cravings Value Menu" today, you'll land on the Luxe Value Menu. The old name is retired, but the idea of a short list of low-priced items is the same.

Does Taco Bell have a dollar menu?

No. Taco Bell no longer has a true dollar menu. The old Dollar Cravings menu is gone, and the cheapest paid item now is the Cheesy Roll Up at $1.39. These are the lowest-priced items on the whole menu as of October 2026:

People still search for a "Taco Bell dollar menu," but the closest thing today is this handful of items under $2. A few extras still cost nothing: Mild, Hot, Fire and Diablo sauce packets are free. For the full taco lineup, see the Taco Bell tacos menu.

Biggest beef item: Cheesy Double Beef Burrito

At 560 calories for $2.99, it's the highest-calorie item on the Luxe Value Menu and the pick for a bigger appetite.

Best for protein: Classic Chicken Crunchadilla

Taco Bell lists the Classic Chicken Crunchadilla at 280 calories and 15 g of protein for $2, about 7.5 g of protein per dollar. The Sriracha version swaps in Creamy Sriracha sauce.

Lightest option: Cheesy Roll Up

The Cheesy Roll Up is both the cheapest item ($1.39) and the lowest in calories (170). For more light picks across the whole menu, see the healthiest Taco Bell menu items.

Houston-area value menu test (October 2026)

Note: Test items only. These are being tested in the Houston area in October 2026 and are not available nationwide. They may change or never launch elsewhere.

Chicken Crunchadilla$1.99
Crispy Chicken Roll Up$2.29
Crunchwrap Dipper$2.49
Mini Tostada Bowl$2.79
Mini Fiesta Bowl$2.99

Taco Bell tests items in select markets before deciding on wider launches. Until any of these appear in the app for your store, treat them as Houston-only.

Value menu vs. Luxe Box: which is the better deal?

For a quick snack, the value menu wins. For a full meal with a drink, a Luxe Box usually gives you more. The $5 Classic Luxe Box includes a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists and a medium fountain drink, which would cost about $10.76 if bought separately.

By comparison, a Cheesy Double Beef Burrito plus a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito costs $4.48 for 960 calories but has no drink. Compare all three boxes in our Taco Bell Luxe Box guide.

How to save more at Taco Bell

  • Order in the Taco Bell app. Taco Bell Rewards members often get early access to new items and deals, as they did with the Luxe Value Menu.
  • Time your drink. Pair value food with a discounted drink during Taco Bell happy hour, typically 2–5 PM at participating locations.
  • Buy tacos in bulk. A 12-taco party pack works out to about $1.75 per taco versus $1.99 each.
